Dual Credit Information

Dual Credit

Benefits of participating in an Early College High School program:

Early College High Schools allow students to earn college credit while they are still in high school. As part of an Early College HS, students take college classes, get textbooks and transportation to and from our higher education partner South Texas College at no charge. By taking advantage of these opportunities, students can complete a college credential before graduating from high school, allowing them to complete a four-year degree sooner. These students are more likely to continue to master or doctorate level programs.

South Texas College website
